TPEF Group’s Symbolic Signing

With pervasive use of social media nowadays, “Netizen 101, a Training on Accountability in Social Media, was conducted on April 28, which stressed the basic principles as responsible netizens and provided set of rules for behaving properly online. The group also reviewed the policies and guidelines on social media engagement formulated by TPEF and scholars.

Scholars write their commitments as responsible netizens on their printed FB individual profile.

To make a public commitment and symbolizing their pledge, the assembly, composed of 85 scholars, volunteers, trainors and members of the board signed the revised Commitment Wall of Guidelines and Policies of TPEF Facebook account and page and TPEF Scholars’ Group account during the launching of the TPEF Scholars’ Alumni Association on May 1.

It is hoped that the said signed document will guide the TPEF scholars, personnel and volunteers to be more careful in engaging in social media, noting in mind the values promoted by the education foundation.
