Scholars Paint “Under the Sea” Theme in Family Room

The family room, a place especially designed for children of seafarers and visitors of Torm Shipping Philippines (TSP), was recently redecorated with “under the sea” theme by some TPEF scholars. It was officially re-launched on June 25 or the International Day of the Seafarers.

The artist-scholars led by Jarid Abarquez, Joemar Nacorda, Arvie Habay-Habay, painted the entire room with colorful and life-sized sea creatures for children to enjoy. They were joined by other deck, engine cadets and recent graduates in the completion of the artwork project namely Gabriel Noble, Rey Lebanto, John Kent Noya, Michelle Tejero, Rowejoy Flores, Ernie John Ibo, Mayflores Millagracia, Khamim Ilupa, Lenard Cortez, Jackson Sarmiento, Teofilo Abing, Justine Panteras and Richard Majerano.
