21 Scholars Graduate in 2018
Eight young men and 13 young women earned their college degrees in Accountancy, Business Administration, Information Technology, Biology, Psychology, Pharmacy, Fisheries, Agriculture Technology, Environmental Management, Secondary Education major in English, in Filipino, in Biological Science, Elementary Education, Marine Engineering, Marine Transportation, and Master in Shipping Management in their respective universities. The 21 scholars are from Siargao Island, Surigao Del Sur, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Cebu, Bohol, Laguna, Bulacan, Bataan, Camarines Sur, Masbate, Naga, and Mountain Province.
Some scholars graduated with honors including Jarid Abarquez, of University of Cebu, magna cum laude, Daniela Naparate and Nelly Flor Cabus of Visayas State University, and Jackson Sarmiento of DMMA College of Southern Philippines, cum laude. In 2017, Jayve Dagohoy and Khamim Ilupa, of the same school with Sarmiento, also graduated with honors. Oldarito Naza, Jr., of University of Eastern Philippines recently passed the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) for Secondary Level.
