The journey of hope continues with batch 2025 scholars

The journey toward brighter futures continues as the scholarship selection for Batch 2025 was officially held in Malita, Davao Occidental. This milestone was made possible through the invaluable support of the DepEd Division Office, the School Head, and the dedicated teachers of Demolok Valley National High School, whose guidance and coordination ensured the success of the selection process.

From this effort, 13 remarkable young scholars emerged. Seven of them come from the poor rural community of Demolok in Malita. Davao Occidental. As proud members of the Tagakaulo Tribe, they carry with them a legacy of resilience, cultural richness, and a deep sense of community. The other six scholars are children of hardworking seafarers—everyday heroes whose sacrifice and dedication inspire strength and perseverance. They hail from Negros Occidental, Cavite, NCR, Laguna, and Davao del Sur, each bringing their own story of determination and hope.

As they begin this new chapter, the scholars of Batch 2025 carry with them more than the promise of academic achievement. They embody the dreams of their families, the pride of their communities, and the potential to become catalysts of change. With hard work, determination, and faith in themselves, they are poised to build brighter futures—not only for themselves, but for the many lives they will one day touch and uplift.
