New reading center for Gaspar Danwata National High School
A new chapter has begun for the students of Gaspar Danwata National High School in Malita, Davao Occidental, with the completion and donation of a fully equipped reading center. The facility, together with a fresh collection of books, is now serving 282 learners, many of whom belong to the Tagakaulo Tribe.
The reading center provides more than just a space for study, offers students the chance to strengthen their literacy skills, discover new ideas, and develop a lifelong love for reading. With better access to books and learning materials, students are empowered to grow academically, build confidence, and dream bigger for their future.
This meaningful initiative was made possible with the strong support of DepEd officials at both the district and division levels. Their collaboration reflects a shared commitment to nurturing a culture of learning and opening opportunities for young minds.
By creating a place where curiosity thrives and knowledge is within reach, the reading center stands as a beacon of hope—not only for the students of Gaspar Danwata National High School but also for the wider community it serves.
