Bayanihan spirit alive at Brigada Eskwela in San Isidro Elementary School
The bayanihan spirit came to life once again at San Isidro Elementary School in San Narciso, Quezon, through TPEF’s Adopt-A-School project. Volunteers from TORM Philippines joined hands with the school community, bringing energy and joy as they prepared 70 eager learners for the new school year.
Armed with assorted paints, school supplies, slippers, and hygiene kits, the volunteers ensured that students had the essentials to begin their academic journey with confidence. Beyond the materials, the day overflowed with laughter as the team organized fun games and a feeding activity, creating memories the children will carry with them long after the event.
The success of Brigada Eskwela was made possible by the dedication of the teachers of San Isidro Elementary School, the support of the DepEd District Office, PTA officers, parents, barangay council, and the selfless volunteers who gave their time and effort.
More than a day of service, it was a celebration of unity, volunteerism, and the enduring bayanihan spirit—showing that when communities come together, they can open brighter opportunities for children and inspire hope for the future.
