Who They Are.
Scholars’ Community Outreach Project (SCOP)
Started in December 2013, the SCOP is an initiative of the scholars as their expression of gratitude, commitment to help and be socially involved. Their efforts include assistance to learning centers and students, volunteer work on disaster-related activities and other community-based efforts.
2013, December 21 Scholars’ COP Theme: Scholars Give Back
The TPEF scholars conducted a day-care outreach project in Saperia Day Care Center in Binangonan, Rizal, from their own savings and donations from other individuals.
They facilitated and sponsored the Christmas party of the 45 day care children and their parents, repainted the learning center and painted mural arts, and donated educational materials like story books, crayons, pens, etc.
2014 December 21. Scholars’ COP Theme: TPEF Scholars’ Heart for Children’s Big Smiles
In Pantok Day Care Center, Binangonan, Rizal, representatives of all scholars organized the COP, putting up a mini-library with the donated learning materials, painting art designs on the classroom walls and improving the façade of the center.

2015 December 22. Scholars’ COP Theme: “Kabatan-onan, Kamot Ilihok” (Youth, Act and Help): Give Thanks and Love this Christmas
In Day Care Center, Gatungan, Bunawan, Davao City, seven scholars-Mindanao Chapter on behalf of all scholars, had Christmas party for 63 children and parents with gift-giving, games and foods and day care center improvement by painting classroom walls with colorful art designs. Also donated learning materials, school items, chairs, floor mats, puzzle mats and other school items to benefit 50 children.
2016 December 21-24 & 26. Scholars’ Community Outreach Project- Scholars’ Initiative
Led by eight (8) Visayas-based scholars on behalf of all scholars, donated learning materials and school items to Mayabay Day Care Center in Daram Island, Samar. Installed classroom door, repaired windows, painted and decorated inner and outer walls of the classroom with artwork. Also provides food and held educational games for children.
2017 December 20. Scholars’ Community Outreach Project- Scholars’ Initiative
Provided 20 Day Care children in Kawayan, Tanay, Rizal with school items, goodies, learning materials, electric fans, educational toys, medicine kit and painted and redecorated the center with artworks and improved ceilings.
2019 Scholars’ Community Outreach Project- Scholars’ Initiative (Held on January & May 2019)
Led by scholars from Kabugao, they provided school kits, goodies, cleaning and paint cans, medicine kits and bookshelf to Magabta Day Care Center in Kabugao, Apayao. The Day Care center was also repainted by the scholars.
Scholars’ Change Stories
The Stories of Change, written by the scholars, hope to share their life stories, inspire and impart life lessons to other scholars, students, parents and other people.
